Refund and Return Policy for The CandyLand Store
The CandyLand Store must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of the item(s) that you wish to return. Returns will not be accepted on any products, if we are not notified within 24 hours after delivery under any circumstances. Returns must be authorized by Customer Service and a RA number given. The RA# should be placed on the outside of the box for faster processing of a refund. Returns can not be accepted on any opened items and returns will not be accepted on any bakery products examples are but are not limited to: Linden's cookies, Entenmann's products or Hostess Drakes these products are bakery items and being such have a very limited shelf life on average of 7-28 days so opened or not returns will not be accepted on such items.
Returns on normal (non-bakery items) must be received back to us no later than 7 business days from date of authorization from Customer Service otherwise a 50% restocking fee may be applied.
Once the item(s) have been received back to us we will inspect them to make sure nothing has been opened and everything you returned is accounted for. Once that is done, the appropriate amount will be refunded to your form of payment, or at your request a store credit can be issued in the form of a Gift Card that can be used on your next purchase. Refunds are normally processed with 24 hours of an item being returned.
If you decide for whatever reason to cancel an order after it is placed within 24-48 hours but have cancelled it before it has shipped we have the right to pass along our credit card processing fees to the customer. The fees are as follows American Express is 4.75% of the sale and .30 per transaction. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are 3.75% of the sale and .30 per transaction. There are no fees associated with PayPal or PayPal Express checkout. If an order status is in Processing that means that items have been pulled from inventory and the order is ready to be packed. If an order is cancelled at this state a 15% restocking fee may be applied.
Postage on the original shipment will be charged at the full rate if an item(s) are returned, not a discounted flat rate that you may have received when the items were purchased for example the flat rates offered here or free shipping. If the order that was placed was over $100 and the items being returned drops you below that $100 threshold for free shipping regular shipping rates will be applied.
Return postage is the customers responsibility and must be returned using a tracking number and insured - The Candyland Store does not refund postage once an item has shipped or refund the cost of any returned shipment.
